M3 Mining (ASX:M3M) wrap up drilling on Edjudina Gold
May 10, 2023M3 Mining is preparing for a flow of results from the Edjudina Gold Project after putting a bow on a 76-hole, 3456-metre air core campaign over three prospects in still-underexplored terrain 150 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The campaign was primarily directed at testing the Jump Up prospect to continue primary mineralisation along a gold-in-soil anomaly running 1600 metres further to the southeast after returning highlight gold intercepts from maiden drilling.
“In addition to testing potential extension of the mineralisation at Jump Up 1, we were also able to drill two further prospects; Jump Up 3 and 4,” Executive Director Simon Eley said.
“Both prospects are centred over broad gold anomalies from historic soil sampling programs and have never been effectively tested.”
There is still meat left on the bone in and around one of the world’s most prolific gold mining regions, and discoveries continue to be made in the fertile territory, which made Kalgoorlie a mining landmark as new technologies and techniques get applied to areas that have never been fully explored.
And as gold sits comfortably above the US$2000 per ounce benchmark, M3 Mining now awaits the return of assays from an untapped tenement area surrounded by the region’s multi-million-ounce mines.
