Bryah (ASX:BYH) tap into a rising Redrum resource

Bryah (ASX:BYH) tap into a rising Redrum resource

May 10, 2023 0 By Rueben Hale

Bryah Resources has swollen the potential of a Redrum resource, returning more exceptional grades from the prospect as it begins modelling a JORC resource already earmarked for a significant expansion at its manganese project in Western Australia’s Bryah Basin.

New downhole drill hole Intersections:

  • 7m at 26.4% Mn in hole RRRC053 from 9m
  • 7m at 23.0% Mn in spot RRRC055 from 7m, including 4m at 27.3% Mn
  • 10m at 27.2% Mn in hole RRRC064 from 14m

Expectations of a maiden resource from Redrum are high, and Bryah Chief Executive Ashley Jones said the prospect had once again returned excellent grades.

“The footprint at Redrum is now one of the largest in the Brumby Creek area and should be able to support a substantial manganese resource,” Mr Jones said.

“Initial geological modelling has indicated good continuity showing the prospect is still open in multiple directions.”

“Further drilling will commence shortly targeting the 3-5 Million Tonnes in resource so we can restart this mining area.”

The view is firm to commence manganese production from the joint venture with a wholly owned OM Holdings subsidiary, a manganese industry leader with assets and interests across the supply chain for metal, driving demand across multiple industries.

Geological modelling of Redrum has begun. Bryah will have further resource updates following a likely maiden resource from the prospect as it plans to drill into the four new high-grade opportunities discovered earlier this year.
