Galileo (ASX: GAL) returns more high-grade results from Callisto discovery
September 20, 2022Galileo Mining confirms widespread palladium and associated metals following consistent grades in four more drill holds at its Callisto prospect, part of the Company’s Norseman project, located around 190 kilometres from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The holes — part of 8,600 metres of RC drilling and 1,400 metres of diamond drilling completed in the current ongoing programs — returned palladium grades greater than 20-metre thickness with every palladium zone accompanied by platinum, gold, copper, and nickel.

Mineralisation continues to be open along strike and down dip to the east where diamond drilling
is continuing.
The company said the latest results are a “great sign” for the potential development of even higher-grade zones, particularly where we have previously encountered massive sulphides.
“New mineral discoveries present a tremendous opportunity in the early stages of exploration and we
believe Callisto is no exception,” Managing Director Brad Underwood said.
“Drilling will provide us the data we need to understand the mineralisation and to trace out any high-grade zones along strike and at depth.
“We have a lot to learn about the overall mineralised system and the opportunities that may present themselves as we continue with our large-scale drill campaigns.”
Assays are pending for all diamond drill holes, including the massive sulphide intersection (2)
with the first diamond core results expected in two to four weeks.
The Company’s ASX shares are trading 2.5 per cent higher at $1.23 in early trade.
