Argenica Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing neuroprotective therapeutics to improve outcomes for patients following stroke and other acute neurological injuries.
The company’s lead drug candidate, xaranetide (ARG-007), is designed to protect vulnerable brain tissue by reducing cell death and limiting secondary damage after an ischemic event.
Xaranetide is currently the company’s principal clinical asset, and its development forms the central focus of Argenica’s research efforts.
The company continues to advance ARG-007 through its defined clinical pathway while maintaining communications with regulators, investigators, and scientific collaborators.
Inclusion of the INN in these communications ensures consistency in terminology across clinical and regulatory documents worldwide.
