Killi (ASX:KLI) see Ravenswood at Rocky
Killi Resources has put the gloves on and made the card for simultaneous RC and diamond drilling at its Rocky prospect in the highly prospective Charters Towers-Ravenswood district of Northern Queensland.
Evaluation of the prospect along strike of the 8Moz Ravenswood deposit and 1.5Moz Mt Wright show exciting similarity, with scale, host rocks, geophysics and drill results of the world class sites.
It primes a three-square kilometre prospective gold mineralised intrusive for drilling, and Killi Chief Executive Kathryn Cutler said it believed Rocky would be the next addition of a significant new intrusive system in the highly prospective district.
“Rocky draws strong comparisons to Ravenswood gold deposits 50kms down the road and only has five holes drilled in the system to date, so we have a huge opportunity here to discover a new gold deposit for the region,” she said.
“We plan to continue with our drill program at Rocky in coming weeks and look forward to informing the market of the results.”
Ravenswood is the targeted mineralisation for Killi, but hardly the only kind in a top-flight gold district which has consistently produced hefty deposits for a gold endowment surpassing 20 million ounces.

Killi will launch its RC and diamond drill program in May at the latest, targeting geophysical anomalies generated from a VTEM survey over the Queensland prospect.
