Burley Minerals have added a critical edge to the board as it advances across maiden drilling and expanded territory in a Quebec Province rising into prominence as a premier North American lithium district.

David Crook joins the company as Non-Executive Director, having preciously led both discovery and mining of Australia’s only caesium mine while also heading up the lithium-focused exploration teams which advanced spodumene deposits at Mavis Lake, Raleigh, Dome North and Medcalf.

An extremely-well credentialed lithium explorer comes at opportune timing for Burley, set to back up the maiden drilling now underway at its strategically located Chubb Lithium Project while it advances its acquisition of the adjacent Bouvier Project.

Burley Chairman Bryan Dixon said it was a boon to have attracted one of Australia’s accomplished Lithium Caesium Tantalum exploration specialists.

“David has very broad experience as a mining executive over 40 years, which includes successful lithium exploration, mining development, operations and corporate knowledge and will provide further valuable skills to complement the existing Board and management team,” he said.

The incoming Non-Executive Director said he looked forward to contributing to exploration success and shareholder value alongside an already well-credentialed Burley team.

“The recent acquisition by Burley Minerals of the Chubb Lithium Project and intended acquisition of the nearby Bouvier Lithium Project provides a very exciting exploration platform for the discovery of spodumene-pegmatites in the established Abitibi mineral province, in Quebec, close to Canada’s only operating lithium mine,” David Crook said.
