Alara Resources has reported the dispatch of its 37th shipment of copper concentrate from the Al Wash hi Majaza copper gold mine in Oman, marking another step in the ongoing export cycle from the project’s concentrate plant.

The update follows the company’s earlier announcement on 2 March 2026 and reflects continuing logistics activity through Sohar Port as production from the operation progresses.

Highlights

  • 37th shipment of 1,399 WMT copper concentrate dispatched, containing 284 MT copper and 75 Oz gold
  • 38th shipment of 1,389 WMT copper concentrate prepared for export, containing 272 MT copper and 96 Oz gold
  • Vessel arrival at Sohar Port expected around 18 March 2026 for shipment 38, subject to regional geopolitical conditions
  • Combined parcels 37 and 38 total 2,788 WMT concentrate containing approximately 566 MT copper and 171 Oz gold

The shipments originate from the Al Wash hi Majaza copper gold mine, operated by Al Hadeetha Resources LLC, the joint venture entity in which Alara Resources holds a 51% interest.

The operation includes a copper concentrate plant that processes ore from the mine and produces concentrate for export through Oman’s Sohar Port, with parcel 37 comprising 1,399 WMT of copper concentrate having sailed containing approximately 284 MT of copper and 75 Oz of gold.

The next shipment in the sequence, parcel 38, is prepared and awaiting vessel arrival. That parcel contains 1,389 WMT of concentrate, with an estimated 272 MT of copper and 96 Oz of gold.

Taken together, the two shipments represent a combined parcel of 2,788 WMT of copper gold concentrate produced in the latest shipping cycle from the Al Wash hi Majaza plant, containing approximately 566 MT of copper and 171 Oz of gold.

Shipping logistics remain linked to port scheduling and regional conditions, with the 38th shipment awaiting the arrival of the next vessel at Sohar Port, estimated to arrive around 18 March 2026.

The expected timing reflects adjustments related to the ongoing geopolitical situation in the region, which has influenced vessel scheduling and departure timelines.

Operationally, the update demonstrates the continued export activity from the Al Wash hi Majaza operation and highlights the role of the Sohar logistics corridor in moving concentrate from mine site to international markets.

Alara noted that its logistics capability enabled the dispatch of parcel 37 while parcel 38 remains staged at port awaiting vessel confirmation.

With parcel 37 already dispatched and parcel 38 positioned for export, the next operational milestone will be confirmation of the vessel arrival and final dispatch schedule from Sohar Port.

The shipments form part of the ongoing concentrate export program from the Al Wash hi Majaza copper gold mine, which remains the company’s primary operating asset in Oman.
