Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) reports further high grade niobium and rare earth results at Santa Anna

Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) reports further high grade niobium and rare earth results at Santa Anna

November 24, 2025 Off By MarketOpen

Power Minerals has released another set of high grade assay results from its shallow auger drilling program at the Santa Anna Project in Brazil, reinforcing the scale of near surface niobium and rare earth element mineralisation within the alkaline carbonatite complex.

The latest data provides additional clarity on the distribution of mineralisation across the weathered profile while aligning with the company’s plan to commence a substantial reverse circulation program.

Highlights

  • Latest assays include 20m at 2,006ppm Nb2O5 and 20m at 4,757ppm TREO in drillhole MN-TM-018 from surface to end of hole.

  • MN-TM-019 returned 13m at 6,774ppm TREO from surface to end of hole.

  • A 10,000m RC drilling campaign is set to commence, beginning with an initial 2,000m phase next month.

  • Auger drilling to date has returned multiple niobium and REE intercepts from surface across 89m of cumulative mineralised intervals.

  • Power aims to deliver the first Mineral Resource Estimate for Santa Anna in Q1 2026.

The Santa Anna Project sits within Goiás State in central Brazil and is defined by a large alkaline carbonatite complex first identified in 2021.

It hosts an extensive lateritic weathering profile above underlying carbonatite units, and the shallow clay rich horizon has proven particularly prospective for both niobium and rare earth elements.

Power Minerals has now reported results for 19 auger drillholes totalling 255.25 metres, with samples collected at one metre intervals, and the weighted average across all 256 samples stands at 1,537ppm Nb2O5 and 0.49 per cent TREO, indicating a consistent distribution of mineralisation across the grid based drilling pattern.

Drillhole MN-TM-018 returned standout intercepts, including 4m at 2,651ppm Nb2O5 from 2m and 1m at 8,616ppm Nb2O5 from 15m, while rare earth grades were similarly elevated with 5m at 9,579ppm TREO from 1m, and MN-TM-019 also produced strong results with 10m at 7,493ppm TREO from surface.

The auger program, based on an 80 metre grid, is being used to refine targeting ahead of deeper drilling and is helping build the geological model for an Exploration Target and eventual Mineral Resource Estimate.

Management has positioned Santa Anna as a near term development opportunity thanks to the extensive shallow mineralisation, the large footprint of the intrusion and the early confirmation that mineralisation extends both laterally and into deeper parts of the complex.

The upcoming RC drilling is designed to test these deeper portions, targeting unassessed zones east and southeast of the initial drilling while following up multiple wide niobium and high grade rare earth intersections delivered earlier in the year.

In commenting on the results, Managing Director Mena Habib said

Latest results from our ongoing auger drilling at Santa Anna continue to validate our exploration model and provide confidence about the potential of this project, as we compile drill data to deliver our goal of defining a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for the project, which we hope will be substantial.”

Power’s next phase of drilling will be critical in establishing the full scale and geometry of the mineralised system.

With a 10,000m RC campaign scheduled to begin shortly and a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for Q1 2026, the company is entering a decisive stage in its exploration program.

Santa Anna continues to deliver consistent and high grade niobium and rare earth results, positioning the project as an increasingly prominent component of the company’s broader critical minerals portfolio.
