TG Metals (ASX:TG6) uncovers high-grade lithium at Jaegermeister

TG Metals (ASX:TG6) has announced significant lithium discoveries at its Jaegermeister prospect within the Lake Johnston Li-Ni-Au Project in Western Australia.

The results from their recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling program have revealed high-grade lithium intersections, reinforcing the project’s potential to become a standalone spodumene lithium operation.

Highlights

The RC drilling at Jaegermeister consisted of 19 drill holes over 3,472 metres, uncovering multiple spodumene-bearing pegmatites with lithium oxide (Li2O) grades up to 2.68% and intercepts reaching up to 10 metres in width.

Notable results include 10.0 metres at 1.19% Li2O from 73.0 metres, including 2.0 metres at 2.07% Li2O, and 6.0 metres at 1.38% Li2O from 76.0 metres, including 2.0 metres at 2.00% Li2O.

These findings highlight Jaegermeister’s similarities in size and grade to the nearby Burmeister deposit, with the potential for further expansion as drilling continues westward.

TG Metals CEO, David Selfe, expressed optimism about the findings, “These are outstanding results for the initial drilling on Jaegermeister. It provides confidence that we have at least two areas of high-grade lithium mineralisation at Lake Johnston and further enhances the potential for a standalone spodumene lithium project for TG Metals. Multiple lithium pegmatites have been defined at Jaegermeister, at relatively shallow depths displaying size characteristics very similar to the nearby large Burmeister deposit. These pegmatites appear to be thickening towards the west, an area that will be a priority target for the next round of drilling at Lake Johnston.”

This discovery not only boosts TG Metals’ prospects but also positions Jaegermeister as a potential key player in the lithium supply chain, particularly as the world increasingly turns towards sustainable energy solutions.

With further drilling and exploration planned, the company is well-placed to capitalise on these promising results.
