Reach (ASX:RR1) extend niobium at Wabli Creek

Reach Resources‘ tenement-wide soil survey has come home with assays identifying 16 strong, coherent, and untested niobium and rare earth anomalies at its fully owned Wabli Creek Project in Western Australia’s highly prospective Gascoyne province.

The assays demonstrated a significant extension to previously uncovered targets on the north-western margin, with the top three priorities now defining a semi-continuous arcuate zone of strong anomalism extending over four kilometres.

Reach CEO Jeremy Bower said the company was particularly excited to announce a significant extension to its high-grade target near the western margin of one of the tenements.

“Not only have we had an expert geochemist identify a large extension to the previously reported high grade Niobium and REE up to 14.3% Nb2O5 and 2.57% TREO, we now have targets on a separate second tenement in the Wabli Creek project area,” Mr Bower said.

“It is important to understand that the target area is substantial, and with multiple new targets with strong multi-element pathfinder geochemical signatures across both tenements (Wabli Creek and Wabli Creek North), the scale of prospectivity across the tenure is very compelling.

“We remain committed to undertaking a methodical approach to our assessment, with every stage designed to refine our final targets ahead of drill testing. The Future is within Reach.”

Planning for next year’s field season is underway for Reach to take a closer look at its collection of targets, with drill testing of top priorities to get underway as soon as all regulatory approvals are in order.

The Western Australian hunt for niobium is well underway, and Reach looks to become one of the eminent players for a formerly steel-driven metal fast gaining traction as one of the more critical metals for battery-makers.
