Kingsland Minerals (ASX: KNG) embark on uranium drilling reconnaissance
September 8, 2022Newly listed Kingsland Minerals commenced the first uranium drilling in more than 13 years, focusing on further strengthening robust historical data from the Cleo Uranium prospect within the Allamber Project near Pine Creek in the Northern Territory.
AMWD Drilling has commenced 3,800 meters of Reverse Circulation (RC) followed by 900m diamond core drilling, targeting broad, high-grade zones containing known uranium mineralisation in a fortnight.
The Company said the initial program would confirm earlier drilling intersections regarding with and grade, plus extend known mineralised zones.

“Importantly, geological information can enable a thorough geological interpretation and model to be generated,” Managing Director Richard Maddocks said.
“We are particularly excited to start our maiden drilling campaign at Cleo.
“Cleo is a significant, under-explored Uranium prospect that offers much potential.
“Geopolitical uncertainties, supply disruptions/shortages combined with increasing concerns about fossil fuel power generation will, I believe, underpin strong uranium price performance in coming years.
“Kingsland Minerals is extremely well placed to take advantage of this with the exciting Cleo Uranium Prospect and we look forward to keeping investors up to date with assay results as they come in.”
Assays are expected to be received in early October.
