Forrestania Resources (ASX: FRS) target big lithium promise at Bounty East and new Gem mine

Forrestania Resources Limited will put the acid on targets at Bounty East and Gemcutter, targeting promising untested grounds and previous drilling intersections at the Forrestania Project 400 kilometres east of Perth.

The lithium focused drilling is to commence as early as next month, with priority lithium targets to be drill tested in a weathered profile. The newly identified Gem Mine target is ~1km south of the Giant Pegmatite, where previous drilling intersected 34m @ 3.1% Li2O.

Approximately 1,500m of RC drilling has been planned for the Bounty East and Gem Mine targets.

“Today’s announcement that drilling is planned to commence at the Forrestania Project early in the December quarter is an exciting development for the company and the geology team,” chief executive Angus Thomson said.

Next Steps

Forrestania is engaging with drilling contractors to confirm rig availability and timing for the upcoming RC drill program.

Heritage and environmental surveys are ongoing at the Forrestania Project and as these work streams progress additional targets are anticipated to become available for drilling.

The Company’s ASX shares have risen 5.71% to 18.5c in early trade.
