Everest Metals Corporation (ASX:EMC) show outstanding promise at Revere
March 14, 2023 0 By Rueben HaleEverest Metals testwork has confirmed up to 305g/t of gold Revere Gold Project 90 kilometres northeast of Meekatharra in the Mid-West of Western Australia.
The whopping hit from a 59kg siltstone host rock sample was discovered following a 42kg bulk quartz vein sample containing 47% free course gold.
Metallurgy has confirmed recoveries of 97 per cent from the quartz, producing a rich concentrate of almost 50kg/t, while the siltstone sample graded at 4323g/t with a recovery of 92.8 per cent.
Approvals are already in place for a diamond drill campaign to begin in Q1 this year. EMC holds the rights to become the project’s sole owner, boasting potential for near-term mining and production from a system of richly endowed gold reefs.
“These metallurgical results highlight the high-grade nature of mineralisation,” EMC Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mr Mark Caruso said.
“The very high recoveries to a primary gravity concentrate at a coarse grind size for both the gold bearing quartz vein and the surrounding host siltstone are especially pleasing as they facilitate processing in a simple gravity circuit.”
EMC will now begin planning for a low-cost, simple crushing-grinding-primary gravity concentration processing circuit alongside trenching and mapping of the reefs system ahead of a drilling campaign set to define the extent of its high-grade gold in the Revere Reefs.
