Western Australia’s West Arunta region is rapidly emerging as a hub for niobium exploration, with Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) at the forefront.

Recent drilling results from the Green and Joyce prospects within the Aileron project reveal not only high-grade intersections but also the potential for the region to become a significant source of critical minerals.

• At Green, reverse circulation (RC) drilling intersected 115m at 1.3% Nb₂O₅ from 93m, including standout intervals of 20m at 2.2% Nb₂O₅ and 10m at 4.0% Nb₂O₅ from 155m. These results underscore the depth potential of the mineralisation.
• The Joyce prospect has unveiled a newly identified carbonatite complex, with reconnaissance drilling intersecting up to 0.6% Nb₂O₅ and 0.5% total rare earth oxides (TREO). This highlights significant new exploration potential across the region.
