Dreadnought Resources has confirmed a significant increase and upgrade in the Yin REE Ironstone Complex resource, part of the Mangaroon project, located in Western Australia’s Gascoyne Region.

Yin deposit, evaluated by JORC 2012, has a globally significant potential mineral resource.

It’s a high-grade, high-resource intensity deposit with one of the highest NdPr: TREO ratios globally.

Consistently high grades are found in 87% of the resources, including 29.98Mt @ 1.04% TREO with significant neodymium and praseodymium.

The ~4.6km long Yin Resource is highlighted.

The project has an initial measured resource of 5.17Mt @1.34% TREO over 250m of strike. The indicated resource is now 21.13Mt @1.02% TREO. There’s more potential in the remaining 90% of the 43 km-long Yin strike.

The company said work covers only approximately 4.6km of the 43km strike.

“An exploration target has been set for the top 150m of the Yin REE Ironstone Complex, which is expected to be updated in 2024,” the company said.
