Dreadnought (ASX:DRE) on discovery journey at Tarraji-Yampi

Dreadnought Resources is to begin a pivotal high-impact 27-hole drilling program at its Tarraji-Yampi Project in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. 

The team is in great spirits following its remarkable 500m deep x 350m wide Orion Cu-Ag-Au-Co massive sulphide discovery lying beneath just a meter of cover.

The discovery included 16 meters at 2.2% Cu, 38.7 g/t Ag, 6.6 g/t Au, and 0.40% Co from 77 meters.

Orion has discovered 13 look-alikes with similar signatures, 5 of which have known outcropping mineralisation, and 6 have highly conductive bodies.

Dreadnought Managing Director Dean Tuck said there are some “exciting mysteries” to uncover, with regular updates flowing for most of the final quarter.

“The long-anticipated drill program to follow up on the 2021 Orion Cu-Ag-Au-Co massive sulphide discovery is finally here,” Mr Tuck said.

“The intervening period has been used wisely to identify 13 Orion look-alike targets that are equal to or better than Orion at the same stage. These are all attractive drill targets that could lead to discoveries. 

“Any additional discoveries close to Orion would define a camp-scale copper opportunity at a time when copper demand is increasing on the back of electrification and decarbonisation. 

“This is a high-impact program at the project that Dreadnought was founded upon.”
