Cazaly (ASX:CAZ) to test Kaoko lithium target

Cazaly (ASX:CAZ) to test Kaoko lithium target

November 13, 2023 Off By Rueben Hale

Cazaly Resources will drill test a sizable lithium target at its Kaoko lithium project in Namibia.

The extensive 120km2 lithium anomaly at the Ohevanga prospect is open for intensive drilling following the renewal of an entire licence issued by the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

The Company plans to investigate every inch of the 12-kilometer anomaly with 3,000 meters of drilling, leaving no stone unturned.

The drilling will follow encouraging infill soil sampling results at the Ohevanga lithium prospect.

Cazaly is upbeat about the internal continuity of the 120 km2 lithium target.

“The lithium soil anomaly was initially defined with a broad 1km sample grid; a portion of this target was infilled to 200m x 50m spacing (refer to CAZ:ASX announcements dated 12 Dec 2022 and 24 Mar 2023), which confirmed the continuity of anomalous lithium results,” The Company said.

“The continuity of lithium anomalism between the original 1km surface samples is a strong indication that elevated lithium will be contiguous across the entire 12km strike length of the original soil anomaly.”

The Drill Program

A 12km lithium in soil anomaly will be drill tested using RC drilling, covering around 3,000m. The initial drilling phase will test the fresh rock beneath the highest lithium in soil results on a 200m x 100m grid.

The Company plans to begin drilling in late Q1 or early Q2 of 2024, working with their in-country team and local community members to assist with line clearing and ongoing processes in the program works.
