Burley spots fresh lithium potential at Chubb North

Burley Minerals mapping combined with portable x-ray fluorescence vectoring has indicated new pegmatites prospective for lithium minerals, 25 km from the mining centre of Val d’Or, Québec, Canada.

The specialised tool surveys ambient noise to detect buried pegmatites northeast of Chubb Central.

The Chubb Lithium Project is strategically located in the world-class lithium province of Québec, Canada and only 10 km from North American Lithium’s operating spodumene mine.

This latest news significantly adds to the project’s promise following the completion of ~7,000m of diamond drilling at Chubb Central in April 2023.

Burley Managing Director Stewart McCallion said fieldwork has been productive and will facilitate plans to start drilling new areas following work completed in April.

“We are very encouraged about the new drill permitted targets which have opened a large, undrilled area at Chubb North,” Mr McCallion said.

“We are excited as the team successfully progresses this highly prospective project, strategically located in the Tier 1 lithium province of Québec, Canada.

“The Company has drilled only two of the 35 mineral claims at the Chubb Lithium Project.

Permits have been obtained for the next drilling phase using a geophysical survey to identify potential structural anomalies northeast of Chubb Central.
