American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX:AT4) reports phase 1 drill results at Antimony Canyon Project

June 9, 2026 Off By MarketOpen

American Tungsten & Antimony has reported results from 17 additional holes of its Phase 1 diamond drilling programme at the Little Emma Prospect within its 100%-owned Antimony Canyon Project in Utah, USA.

Combined with previous results, the Phase 1 programme now comprises 30 holes totalling 1,970 metres, of which 24 have returned assay results, confirming continuity of mineralisation within the stratabound stibnite system on the patented claims.

Highlights

  • Phase 1 drilling identifies high-grade stibnite pods within a broader stratabound mineralised horizon.
  • Key intercepts reported include 10.37m at 3.98% Sb including 4.57m at 8.56% Sb (ACP26DD026) and 5.73m at 2.80% Sb including 1.95m at 8.09% Sb (ACP26DD014).
  • Drilling confirms a stratabound hydrothermal system, with lower-grade inter-pod envelopes observed in ACP26DD024 and ACP26DD025.
  • Systematic soil sampling across the Patented Claims is complete; results are expected within six weeks.
  • Permitting and drill designs advancing for Blackjack, Mammoth, Stella and Stebenite prospects, with drilling anticipated following approvals.

Phase 1 drilling has focused on the “Salt and Pepper” unit, a calcareous and crystal-rich volcanosedimentary tuff within the Paleocene Flagstaff Formation.

High-grade pods within this unit have returned massive to semi-massive stibnite replacement, while broader low-grade envelopes are represented by disseminated stibnite in the surrounding host tuff.

Hole ACP26DD026 returned the highest single-sample grade in the programme at 42.1% Sb over a 0.30m interval within a high-grade pod, confirming the pod-based geometry and stratabound continuity observed in other drill sections.

Hole ACP26DD025 returned 12.1m at 0.26% Sb, representing a broad inter-pod matrix interval. Multi-element pathfinder analysis identified arsenic, mercury and thallium coincident with Sb mineralisation in inter-pod zones.

American Tungsten & Antimony Managing Director Andre Booyzen commented,

“ACP26DD026 is the strongest result of our programme to date, and it speaks for itself. But what it represents matters more than the number, the majority of the seventeen holes reported in this release intersected the mineralised horizon, our understanding of the system is growing with every hole drilled, and Little Emma is just one of more than twenty historic workings within our Patented Claims, barely one percent of the total project footprint. The system is resolving”.

Looking ahead, drilling at the Blackjack prospect is anticipated within approximately two months, pending USFS permit approval, while drill designs for the Mammoth, Stella and Stebenite claims are advanced, with Notices of Intent to be submitted to the Utah Department of Oil, Gas and Mining by the end of June 2026.

Systematic soil sampling and ongoing geological mapping aim to support the next phase of exploration.

The Phase 1 results confirm continuity of high-grade pods and broader stratabound mineralisation within the patented claims, providing a technical basis for further drill targeting and evaluation of the Antimony Canyon Project footprint.
