Alara Resources (ASX:AUQ) records 50th copper shipment from Al Wash hi Majaza mine
June 26, 2026Alara Resources Limited has announced the dispatch of its 50th shipment of copper concentrate from the Al Wash hi Majaza copper gold mine in Oman, marking another production milestone for the operation conducted through its 51% owned joint venture Al Hadeetha Resources LLC.
The shipment forms part of ongoing export activity from Sohar Port and adds to the company’s cumulative production record from the asset since commencement.

The 50th parcel comprised 456 WMT of copper gold concentrate and was dispatched from Sohar Port on 21 June 2026, with the company reporting that the shipment contained approximately 83 MT of copper and 64 oz of gold.
It also included concentrate that had been held back from an earlier cycle due to port clearance requirements before being released for export in the current shipment.
Across all 50 shipments, Alara reports cumulative exports of 62,684 WMT of copper concentrate, containing approximately 10,988 MT of copper metal, with these figures representing total shipments from the Al Wash hi Majaza operation to date.

The company also noted that following rainfall in March which affected mine production, operations recovered strongly in April and continued through May and June year to date.
It stated that the concentrator operated above nameplate capacity during the period, except in April when a planned SAG mill reline shutdown occurred.
