92E grow a glowing discovery at Gemini

92 Energy has both confirmed a new parallel mineralised zone and extended the footprint of the main zone of its high-profile Gemini Uranium Discovery in Canada’s Athabasca Basin.

The assays’ return from recent drilling confirmed high-grade copper and uranium 300 metres east of the Gemini Mineralised Zone, where drilling intersected more thick zones of continuous mineralisation, now defined over 250 by 290 metres.

And a radioactive boulder assayed up to 0.39 per cent triuranium octoxide discovered 18 kilometres to the southwest adds a glowing guide stone to Gemini as 92E continue to make its way to the source mineralisation.

92 Energy Managing Director Siobhan Lancaster said these were highly significant assays, revealing that the parallel structure holds strong potential for replicating its discovery.

“Results to date highlight the possibility of uncovering other additional mineralised zones along the northern extensions of Gemini and the area around the recently identified radioactive boulder in the southern part of the project,” Ms Lancaster said.

“The Gemini project covers a vast area, much of which remains virtually unexplored, and there is clearly immense growth potential in several directions, as these results show.”

The results have spurred more ground geophysical surveys over the greater Gemini area, directed at better defining structural trends to constrain targets for the next round of drilling.

Growing Gemini

Established with a view towards the strong market fundamentals of uranium well before this current bull run, Gemini bears heavy similarities to the lucrative deposits which have defined the Athabasca as the highest-grade uranium district in the world.

A 42m at 0.5% U3O8 intercept and intervals as high as 6% provided an early indication of similarity to its eminent neighbours, backed up by a strike approaching an absurd 10 per cent which stood as the years’ best publicly available intercept not to come from an established deposit.
