
Golden State (ASX:GSM) finds hot rocks at Paynes Find
November 20, 2023Golden State Mining (ASX:GSM) has recorded Up to 0.9% lithium rock chips during initial reconnaissance fieldwork at Pairst-pass Paynes Find in Western Australia’s Murchison.
Despite the “very limited” fieldwork coverage, the encouraging find comes, having already validated its original targeting criteria at the Paynes Find lithium project.
The company confirms anomalous lithium soils and pegmatite mapping results with encouraging lithium grade, 0.3% Rubidium.
“These encouraging results come from a recent field trip which identified outcropping pegmatites and further enhanced the prospectivity of the project,” GSM Managing Director Michael Moore said.
“This data provides the basis for a robust drilling campaign in 2024.
“GSM looks forward to carrying out further fieldwork this quarter, assisting drill-hole placement, target vectoring and updating shareholders as work progresses.”
A follow-up fieldwork campaign will target prospective pegmatites for drill planning.
