Droneshield (ASX:DRO) launch SensorFusionAI

Droneshield (ASX:DRO) launch SensorFusionAI

October 19, 2023 Off By Rueben Hale

DroneShield has put its next-generation SensorFusionAI (SFAI) into the sky with AI-driven multisensory intelligence fully integrated into third-party C2 systems.

Its 3D data fusion engine will assist in targeting within complex environments. DroneShield’s field-proven SFAI is a sensor-agnostic module previously deployed in the DroneSentry-C2 system.

This new development allows SFAI to function as a subscription-based module, which can be integrated into third-party C2 systems.

Droneshields CEO Oleg Vornik said SFAI  has many advantages over traditional C2 engines, including a stand-alone software engine fusing sensor outputs.

“SFAI can also be  subcontracted to existing C2 suppliers, which will maximise Droneshield’s market share and further monetise the IP they developed,” Mr Vornik added

Angus Bean, DroneShields CTO, said detection of drones or Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) is moving towards a multi-sensor approach for fixed sites (and in certain situations, vehicle and ship systems).

“[This is for] where the space and budget allow for such approach, due to ability to provide better detection results with multiple sensor modalities, such as radiofrequency, radar, acoustic and camera systems, either deployed in a single or across multiple nodes,” Mr Bean said

The company expects the sales to be material and will further update the market when quantifiable numbers are available.
