Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) unveils promising expansion at Falcon Lake lithium project

Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) has hit the ground running with its 2024 winter drilling campaign at the Falcon Lake Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada.

Early results indicate a highly prospective and expanding lithium system, underscoring the project’s potential to become a key player in the burgeoning battery minerals sector.

Highlights of the Program

The opening holes at the Falcon Little Lake target have delivered spodumene-bearing intercepts exceeding 50 metres in multiple instances:

• Hole 24FL-107: 54.1m of mineralised pegmatite.
• Hole 24FL-108: 55.95m of mineralised pegmatite.
• Hole 24FL-110: 21.3m of mineralised pegmatite.

These initial results expand the known mineralisation both down dip and to the south, reinforcing confidence in the scale of the system.

As Battery Age Minerals CEO Nigel Broomham noted, “These results confirm the growth potential of this discovery and highlight the expanding scale of the mineralised system.”

A Legacy of Success

This winter program builds on the significant intercepts reported in previous campaigns, including:

• 24.9m at 1.34% Li₂O (Hole 24FL-098), with higher-grade zones such as 5.8m at 1.98% Li₂O.
• 18.4m at 1.88% Li₂O (Hole 24FL-100), including a stellar 5.0m at 2.44% Li₂O.

The Falcon Lake project sits within a well-established geological province known for its lithium-bearing pegmatites.

The latest findings suggest that the Falcon Little Lake target remains open in all directions, offering significant opportunities for future exploration.
