Errawarra (ASX:ERW) add critical opportunity to Errabiddy
April 12, 2023Errawarra Resources have spotted graphite outcrops with promising rare earth potential, adding more opportunity to its Errabiddy project around 200 kilometres northwest of Meekatharra in Western Australia.
Over 500 square kilometres of wide-open unexplored territory is within the company’s sights, potentially boosting the 1066km highly prospective nickel and gold land package.
Graphite schists have been confirmed to occur less than 6km from Buxton’s Graphite Bull Project, where the neighbour encountered thick zones of high-grade mineralisation in all five RC holes of its latest campaign.
Meanwhile, the promise of rare earth close to neighbouring Desert Metals’ Dingo Pass and Krakatoa Resources’ Tower Project will allow Errawarra fast-tracking a full independent review of its prospective tenants.
While Australia has several rare earth operations, the mining superpower is yet to become a graphite producer and, sitting on five million tonnes of ore reserves and 7.97 million tonnes of economically demonstrated resources, looks to join Africa in claiming the critical resource outside the Chinese borders which contain the bulk of current production.
Planning for more surveillance and sampling is underway.
