Voltaic (ASX:VSR) spot new targets on expanded ground at Paddy’s Well
January 19, 2023Voltaic Strategic Resources have confirmed high grades of Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) on expanded target areas at its exciting Paddy’s Well REE project in Western Australia’s emerging Gascoyne region.
Assays from rock chips collected in October include 1,000ppm TREO across the subsurface area, increased by almost a kilometre to a significant scale total length of 2.4km.
“Excitingly, mineralisation appears to have a high proportion of the in-demand ‘magnet’ REEs, namely neodymium (Nd), praseodymium (Pr), terbium (Tb) and dysprosium (Dy), which is favourable for potential economic extraction in the future,” the Company said.

Meanwhile, 2500m of auger drilling has gotten underway at the site’s priority target areas within the highly prospective “CSZ 1” REE corridor.
Most holes are planned within and proximal to an area where several historical drillholes and recent surface geochemical sampling have identified anomalous TREO results.
Voltaic aims to confirm historical holes while defining the extent of the clay-hosted anomalous REE area.
At the same time, the exploration team will begin its next round of field reconnaissance target generation.
