Galena (ASX:G1A) run first ore

Galena’s is developing its 60% owned lead-gold Project in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia into a globally significant underground mine and processing facility to produce a high-value, high-grade lead-silver concentrate, following FID in June last year.

“I would like to congratulate the Abra team and key contractors for this historic achievement,” Managing Director Tony James said.

”The  mine now moves into the next phase of production ramp-up which will underpin the long-term performance and life of the Abra Mine.”

The 34.5mt Project is expected reach first commercial production in the first quarter of 2023 calendar year.

Price Action

The Company’s ASX-listed shares are 21.4c at Market Open.
