Gorilla Gold Mines has reported new drilling results from its 100% owned Comet Vale Gold Project in Western Australia, where first pass wide spaced discovery drilling has intersected shallow, high-grade mineralisation at two previously untested targets within the North Kalgoorlie Hub.

Highlights

  • 16.0m @ 4.2g/t Au from 36.0m at Donkey Kong target
  • 8.0m @ 3.6g/t Au from 96.0m at Magilla target
  • 2.0m @ 6.1g/t Au from 151.0m at Magilla target
  • Targets located less than 1km from the Goldfields Highway
  • Additional RC rig secured with arrival scheduled for May 2026
  • North Kalgoorlie Hub resource base of 1.2Moz @ 3.7g/t Au

The first results back from broad spaced RC drilling have intercepted shallow and high-grade mineralisation at two targets, with 16.0m @ 4.2g/t Au from 36.0m returned at the Donkey Kong target, and 8.0m @ 3.6g/t Au from 96.0m and 2.0m @ 6.1g/t Au from 151.0m returned at the Magilla target, with the results reported as downhole intercepts and true widths not yet determined.

Both targets are located within granted Mining Leases less than 1km from the Goldfields Highway and form part of the Comet Vale Project within the North Kalgoorlie Hub, which has a resource base of 1.2Moz @ 3.7g/t Au.

The Hub is composed of the Comet Vale and Mulwarrie Projects, both on granted Mining Leases, in a region with multiple operational gold mills within a 100km radius.

The Comet Vale Project has a Mineral Resource Estimate of 0.86Moz @ 3.7g/t Au and has seen historical gold production of >200koz @ >20g/t Au, with underground operations occurring as recently as 2020.

The Company has identified a 10km by 3km zone of interrelated structural deformation and mineralisation zones within which the Sovereign shear-zone, King Kong shear-zone, and the Silverback shear-zones are situated.

Gorilla Gold Chief Executive Officer Charles Hughes said

“These exciting first-pass drilling results mark another step-change in our exploration at Comet Vale, with two separate mineralised systems discovered in broad-spaced drilling just 1km from the Goldfields Highway on granted Mining Leases.”

Follow up drilling programs are being ground prepared now with further drilling set to commence in the coming weeks, with an additional RC rig secured to accelerate the program, while further samples from the first phase of drilling are still with laboratories.

Across the North Kalgoorlie Hub, two diamond rigs are undertaking extensional growth drilling at Sovereign Deposit, and one diamond rig is undertaking extensional growth drilling at Mulwarrie, while one diamond rig is active at the Vivien Project drilling the Vivien hanging wall and footwall exploration targets.

The Company has planned 150,000 metres of drilling across its three key projects in 2026, with five rigs operating across the North Kalgoorlie Hub and one rig operating at Vivien, and further lab capacity has been brought online to speed up the flow of results.
