Carnaby Resources show their mettle at the Greater DuchessOctober 27, 2023
Carnaby Resources has confirmed an interim maiden resource of almost 22Mt at its Greater Duchess Copper Gold project in Mt Isa, Queensland.
The estimate comes from a rapid succession of three significant discoveries over the last two years.
True to form, the Carnaby team is already working on adding to the sizeable interim resource.
“The orebodies remain strongly open at depth and along strike, especially at Mount Hope and Lady Fanny where the most recent drill results of 61m @ 3.3% Cu, 0.6g/t Au and 23m @ 3.3% Cu, 0.2g/t Au respectively are completely open down plunge,” Carnaby Managing Director Rob Watkins said.
“Scoping Studies are well underway, which are anticipated to be completed in Q1 2024 and will most likely progress immediately to a Pre-feasibility Study.
“This interim Mineral Resource forms a base copper and gold inventory from which ongoing drilling will lead to extensions and additional discoveries.”
