MarketOpen is an online media business connecting companies and investors. Led by Managing Director and MarketOpen podcast host Stewart Walters, the company was founded in Perth during the pandemic years by a small group of Western Australian investors with decades of experience in the Australian, British, Canadian and US markets, and the media industry. Through its flagship MarketOpen.com.au media channel and MarketOpen Magazine email newsletter, the publisher’s experienced journalists cover breaking news and analysis on mining, oil and gas, technology and biotechnology companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and other markets. MarketOpen’s video and podcasting channels feature original interviews with Australia’s small-cap corporate leaders, while its Stock Soirée networking events, Watchlist webinars, and online events connect investors and brokers with CEOs and board members. The publisher also offers a suite of agency services to its corporate members, including media, video, podcasting and social media services, along with writing, editing, reviewing and content creation services.

Stewart Walters is a former professional cricketer and assistant coach of Perth Scorchers & WA mens cricket teams spanning 14 years. Most recently has worked in the small-caps industry in various capacities, including his current position as the Managing Director of MarketOpen Australia. His goal is to connect investors and Australia's emerging companies.
Amanda Ellis is an editor-in-chief and copy consultant who writes about emerging resources and energy companies, writing and publishing. She has been a staff journalist with The West Australian, the Sunday Times, Kalgoorlie Miner and MiningNews. Amanda has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in journalism, communications and marketing from the University of Western Australia, and a diploma in journalism and sub-editing from the British National Council for the Training of Journalists.
Jack Baker is a journalist and content specialist who currently writes about new and emerging resource companies, sports and anything strange that might interest him. He regularly produces hard news, features and columns. Jack has a double degree in journalism and public relations from Edith Cowan University.
Riley Maring is a videographer, photographer and graphic designer who produces video and podcast interviews, photography, artwork and media productions. His productions help companies, corporate executives and industry professionals in the media, resources, energy and sports fields to share their stories. He is excited to help build something special at MarketOpen.
Sabina Virgo is an events and social media specialist who assists editorial teams and corporate executives with sharing their stories in person and in live online events. She specialises in events, media monitoring and social media posting, helping companies connect with investors and other key audiences.
