Bryah (ASX:BYH) on trend at Lake Johnston Lithium

Bryah (ASX:BYH) on trend at Lake Johnston Lithium

December 5, 2023 Off By Tom Duggan

Bryah Resources has found the right signs for lithium at its Lake Johnston Project and uncovered lithium soil anomalies in orientation lines similar to the nearby TG Metals discovery at two prospects.

And it comes from an area confirmed to LCT pegmatites from previous rock chips at both the Pegasus and Arpeggio prospects, with elevated levels of gallium coinciding with the lithium at Arpeggio.

Bryah Chief Executive Officer Ashley Jones said that these initial results from soil orientation lines are of similar tenor to other soil results which resulted in pegmatite intersections.

“The two areas have +25ppm Lithium soil trends and are also anomalous in differing elements. The Pegasus prospect has anomalous rubidium over outcropping pegmatites and the Arpeggio prospect west of the Emily Anne Nickel mine is anomalous in lithium and gallium,” Mr Jones said.

The region has had a spotlight thrust on it in recent months, and Mr Jones added that planning is now well underway for a large soil program across Bryah’s tenure.

“TG Metals Burmeister Project and Charger Metal’s Lake Medcalf Prospect in addition to the nearby, world-class Mt Holland lithium mine are within the Lake Johnston area,” he said.

“We are in the right postcode, and anomalous results confirm that we are searching in the correct areas.”

Forward plan

The follow up will now evaluate the potential of the areas to host economic LCT pegmatite mineralisation, using regional soil sampling, multi-element assays, geological mapping and rock chip sampling, and evaluation of remote sensing data to define targets and get ready to drill.
