HyTerra (ASX:HYT) advancing at Nemeha Ridge

HyTerra has obtained licenses to explore and develop its natural hydrogen play, making significant progress on its exciting Nehema Ridge project in the U.S. state of Kansas.

Incoming airborne geophysical and magnetic data is interpreting subsurface geology, which is conducive to hydrogen generation.

It provides critical data for advancing prospects and leads for Nemeha Ridge. Hyterra is now in discussions to begin the independent resource assessment and commercialisation of the natural hydrogen assets.

And HyTerra’s US-based subsidiary now has the licence to operate in the Sunflower State. It will begin to prepare the paperwork to reach the landmark of permitted wells, with several drilling and operational consultants engaged for exploration.

On The Move

Highly encouraging natural hydrogen results at HyTerra’s Project Geneva JV spurred the acquisition of a wholly owned project at Nemeha Ridge, and with two fast-emerging natural hydrogen plays in its portfolio, HyTerra has taken to the road and across the Atlantic to demonstrate its advances in the natural hydrogen sector.

The crowds gathered in the U.S. and English capitals for natural hydrogen events as the clean and potentially limitless energy source gained prominence. HyTerra presented at a U.S. Department of Energy workshop in Washington to unite industry and technology.

HyTerra Executive Director Avon McIntyre then crossed the pond to serve as a keynote speaker for the Geological Society of London’s “Natural Hydrogen: A New Frontier for Energy Geoscience” conference, focused on developing a greater understanding of how the world can exploit its natural hydrogen resources.

Hot on hydrogen

With climate goals and security at the forefront of global energy concerns, the U.S. has issued its first Clean Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap, and the first ASX-listed company to focus on natural hydrogen has been purposeful in aligning its strategies with a nation that seeks to accelerate production, processing, delivery, storage and use of the energy source.
