Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) initial Dulcie results confirm shear hosted gold system across consolidated corridor
December 2, 2025Zenith Minerals has released the first assay results from its Consolidated Dulcie Drilling Programme in Western Australia, confirming continuity of a gold system that aligns with the company’s recently defined Exploration Target of 0.3 to 0.8 million ounces at 0.9 to 1.1 grams per tonne gold.
These initial results provide early confidence in geological consistency across Dulcie, Dulcie North and Dulcie Far North and form a foundation for the company’s planned transition to JORC compliant Inferred Resources.
Highlights
- First eight holes at Dulcie North confirm broad zones of shear hosted gold consistent with the Exploration Target model.
- Mineralised intercepts include 6 metres at 1.42 grams per tonne gold from 126 metres in SRRC086 and 15 metres at 1.06 grams per tonne gold from 46 metres in SRRC092.
- Seventy eight holes for 12621 metres have been drilled across the Dulcie corridor with assays for seventy remaining holes pending.
- Dulcie Far North hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 8.2 million tonnes at 1.2 grams per tonne gold for 302000 ounces.
The early results from holes SRRC086 to SRRC093 validate Zenith’s Exploration Target, which outlined 10 to 24 million tonnes at 0.9 to 1.1 grams per tonne gold for 0.3 to 0.8 million ounces.
The intercepts confirm shear hosted mineralisation aligned with predicted lode geometry, supporting continuity along strike and at depth.
Notable assays include 2 metres at 1.79 grams per tonne gold from 72 metres and 1 metre at 4.10 grams per tonne gold from 120 metres in SRRC087, as well as 3 metres at 2.85 grams per tonne gold from 46 metres in SRRC092.
Mineralisation is hosted within tholeiitic metabasalts, banded iron formation lenses and ultramafics, with gold contained in quartz veins at lithological contacts.
These geological features match those observed at Dulcie Far North and confirm that the mineralised shear continues southward into Zenith Minerals’ recently acquired Dulcie Subsurface Rights Area.
This strategic three kilometre extension includes granted mining leases containing active heap leach operations, reducing development risk and providing a clearer path toward future production while mineralisation remains open along strike and down dip.
In total, seventy eight holes for 12621 metres have been drilled across the Dulcie corridor, with the remaining seventy holes for which assays are pending designed to test strike and depth extensions at Dulcie North, evaluate continuity into the Dulcie trend and assess newly interpreted banded iron formation hosted footwall targets identified through re logging of historical core.
Structural flexures interpreted as potential higher grade zones also frm part of the growth focus.
Managing Director Andrew Smith said:
“These first results are what we wanted to see continuity scale and a strong match to our Exploration Target model. With drilling now complete we await assays for the remaining 70 holes which tested along strike and down dip of the entire Dulcie corridor. Our objective is clear convert geological confidence into JORC compliant resources across the consolidated Dulcie corridor.”
The Consolidated Dulcie Project incorporates contiguous granted Mining Licences covering more than six kilometres of strike, combining the Dulcie Far North Mining Lease and the recently secured Dulcie Subsurface Rights Area.
The project benefits from established infrastructure, including proximity to sealed roads and nearby gold processing facilities, and Zenith’s dataset includes verified drilling completed between 1988 and 2025 which underpinned the defined Exploration Target and supports the company’s geological model.
With drilling complete and a substantial volume of assays due, Zenith is positioned to progress toward a maiden JORC compliant resource estimate for both Dulcie and Dulcie North as results continue to refine the geological interpretation.
