White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) reveals record-breaking copper grades at Rae Project, Canada

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) has revealed a major breakthrough at its Rae Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada, with initial assays demonstrating remarkably high-grade copper and precious metal deposits.

The standout result, a staggering 64.02% copper (Cu), signals Rae’s potential to emerge as a world-class project and positions it among the highest-grade discoveries globally.

As copper continues to play a critical role in driving the energy transition, Rae’s exceptional rock chip assay results mark it as a prime candidate for further exploration, making it a key asset in the push towards a sustainable, green future.

According to White Cliff Minerals Managing Director Troy Whittaker, “The Rae Copper Project is extraordinary in scope and scale. Having undertaken an extensive search, I believe these results are the highest ever recorded copper assays from a representative rock chip sample anywhere in the world.”

The first batch of assay results covers three of the five exploration districts at Rae, with the Vision District drawing attention.

Results from the Don and Pat targets within this district returned assays of up to 64.02% Cu and 223 grams per tonne (g/t) silver (Ag), confirming the presence of extensive, high-grade chalcocite veins.

Furthermore, the project’s proximity to the Port of Kugluktuk, only 70 km away, enhances its accessibility for future mining operations.

White Cliff’s exploration at Rae not only builds on Canada’s long history of copper discoveries in the region, dating back to the 18th century, but with assays of this calibre, the project is also poised to become a significant contributor to the global copper supply, playing a vital role in supporting the green energy revolution.

Looking ahead, the company plans to integrate geophysical data, finalise drill targets, and continue with extensive fieldwork in preparation for a 2025 maiden drilling campaign.

While further assay results are pending, the exceptional grades and lateral extent of the mineralisation suggest that Rae could become a cornerstone asset for White Cliff.
