White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) delivers more high-grade hits at Rae Copper Project

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) has confirmed what early signs were already suggesting — its Rae Copper Project in Nunavut, Canada, is shaping up as one of the more compelling new copper discoveries in recent memory.

Fresh assays have delivered another standout result: 63 metres at 2.23% copper and 7.1g/t silver from just 9.14 metres depth, including a 15-metre zone at a blistering 5% copper. A second hole returned 72 metres at 1.08% copper, with a 14-metre interval grading 2.32%.

These results stack on top of earlier intercepts of 175m @ 2.5% Cu and 58m @ 3.08% Cu — defining a remarkably thick, high-grade system that starts near surface and remains open at depth and along strike.

White Cliff Minerals Managing Director Troy Whittaker said:

“Assays from Rae continue to exceed expectations… These high-grade intercepts from surface are rare in the exploration world as explorers over recent times have had to go deeper and deeper to identify additional copper resources.”

“Being the first mover into this highly prospective location, after more than a decade of inactivity due to political constraints – securing the licences organically and now having undertaken our first drill program, positions us well both for future work programmes and to facilitate further discoveries.”

The project’s location, long overlooked due to access challenges, is now working in White Cliff’s favour.

Infrastructure improvements around Yellowknife and the North-West Passage, combined with government discussions on roads and ports, are transforming regional accessibility.

Rae sits less than 80 kilometres by road from the deep-water port of Kugluktuk — a major logistical advantage for future development.

Next steps include the launch of geophysical surveys to expand targeting across the broader 9.1-kilometre corridor. With assays pending and momentum building, White Cliff appears to be uncovering not just copper — but the reawakening of an entire district.

This isn’t just a drilling success story — it’s a rediscovery play with scale, access, and timing all starting to align.
