Uncovering golden opportunities: Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) bold aircore drilling campaign at Golden Range

Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) has set an ambitious tone for 2025 with promising results from its maiden aircore (AC) drilling program at the Golden Range Project in Western Australia.

This campaign, encompassing 58 holes over 5,370 metres, has uncovered key structural zones and high-grade gold mineralisation, potentially rewriting the project’s geological map.

Key Highlights:

The project, located 350km northeast of Perth, covers a 70km stretch of the highly prospective Yalgoo-Singleton greenstone belt.

Much of its promise lies in the underexplored zones of the MSZ and associated splays, areas that have been challenging to define due to deep weathering and limited historical data.

Warriedar Resources Managing Director Amanda Buckingham underscored the campaign’s strategic impact:

“The initial aircore drilling undertaken in the second half of last year was directed at utilising our growing pool of available geoscience data to test key structural zones in pursuit of the next significant discovery at Golden Range.”

A New Era for Exploration

The results are a significant step forward in Warriedar’s regional exploration strategy, particularly the confirmation of a mineralised parallel splay east of the MSZ.

With assays revealing high-grade gold at shallow depths, this splay is emerging as a priority target for future drilling.

Geochemical anomalies further bolster its potential, mirroring characteristics of known deposits along the MSZ.

This aligns with the company’s broader ambition to expand the Golden Range resource inventory, which already exceeds 1.28 million ounces.

The Ricciardo deposit, the project’s flagship, alone accounts for nearly half of this total.

Building Momentum

Warriedar plans to sustain momentum with follow-up RC drilling to probe the depth and strike potential of these newfound structures.

This includes targeting unexplored sections of the MSZ and investigating other interpreted splays.

As Buckingham puts it:

“We look forward to further aircore drilling through 2025 in enhanced pursuit of new regional gold discoveries.”

With a focus on innovation and data-driven exploration, Warriedar is well-positioned to deliver on its vision for the Golden Range Project.

The maiden AC program has not only bolstered confidence in the MSZ but also paved the way for untapped opportunities in its parallel splays.

Golden Horizons Ahead

Warriedar’s disciplined approach to leveraging modern geoscience and innovative exploration techniques is yielding tangible results.

As the company transitions into the next phase of its strategy, the Golden Range Project is shaping up to be a cornerstone of its growth narrative, reaffirming its potential as a gold-rich frontier.

This is not just exploration; it’s a calculated bid to redefine the geological and economic contours of the Murchison region.
