Titan Minerals (ASX:TMM) unveils high-grade extensions at Dynasty Gold Project with potential resource growth

Titan Minerals Limited (ASX:TTM) has reported exceptional trenching and channel sampling results at its Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador.

The latest exploration work has uncovered two new zones of mineralisation at the Kaliman southwest extension and the Brecha-Comanche west extension, both within the Cerro Verde prospect, which already accounts for the majority of the project’s 3.1 million ounce gold resource.

These discoveries highlight the potential for further near-surface resource growth.

In this Q&A, Chief Executive Officer Melanie Leighton discusses the results, their importance within the broader Dynasty Gold Project, and the company’s forward plans.

What is the significance of the new mineralisation discovered at the Kaliman southwest extension?

“The trenching and channel sampling undertaken at the Kaliman southwest extension is highly significant because it has confirmed mineralisation across a 300 metre strike length that had not previously been well defined.”

New results include 10.2 metres at 3.8 grams per tonne gold and 8.3 grams per tonne silver, including 4.0 metres at 8.75 grams per tonne gold and 14.8 grams per tonne silver in trench CVT25-029, and 5.2 metres at 3.3 grams per tonne gold and 7.5 grams per tonne silver in channel CVC25-126.

These outcomes build on historical drilling in the area, such as hole DDH022 drilled in 2005, which intersected 22.5 metres at 1.0 grams per tonne gold and 2.4 grams per tonne silver from 49.8 metres depth but was never extended beyond 82 metres.

The combination of new trenching results with earlier drill data now provides a stronger understanding of porphyry related mineralisation that had been overlooked for almost two decades.

Can you explain the results from the Brecha-Comanche west extension and their importance?

“The Brecha-Comanche west extension has delivered some of the strongest trenching results reported so far.”

The extension added a further 180 metres of mineralisation to the west, with standout results including 8.6 metres at 5.8 grams per tonne gold and 115.9 grams per tonne silver, as well as 15.0 metres at 2.1 grams per tonne gold and 18.8 grams per tonne silver.

The mineralisation occurs within a northeast-southwest trending epithermal vein that is directly linked to the existing Brecha-Comanche system, demonstrating both lateral continuity and scope for further growth.

A shallow drilling program is being prepared to test these trench results at depth, with the aim of bringing them into the next mineral resource update.

How do these discoveries fit within the overall Dynasty Gold Project resource base?

The Dynasty Gold Project holds a mineral resource estimate of 3.1 million ounces of gold, with Cerro Verde accounting for around 1.9 million ounces.

The new discoveries at Kaliman and Brecha-Comanche are located on the western margins of this central resource area.

Their near-surface position and demonstrated strike extensions make them well suited to contribute additional ounces to the resource base.

Incorporating these results has the potential to improve pit optimisation and mine studies by adding shallow ounces that can reduce strip ratios and enhance the efficiency of potential open pit mining scenarios.

What progress is being made on drilling and the resource update?

“Drilling progress is advancing strongly, with a 6,000 metre resource infill program underway using three diamond rigs.”

The program is expected to conclude within two months and is designed to improve geological confidence, provide more data for grade estimation, and upgrade resource categories to support future ore reserve work.

Early results have been positive, including drillhole CVDD24-141, which returned 31.6 metres at 2.2 grams per tonne gold and 5.4 grams per tonne silver, with higher grade intervals such as 8.8 metres at 3.8 grams per tonne gold and 10.6 grams per tonne silver.

Importantly, this hole also revealed mineralisation in an untested gap zone between the Brecha-Comanche epithermal system and the Kaliman porphyry system, further demonstrating the potential for resource growth at Cerro Verde.

What are the next steps for the Dynasty Gold Project following these results?

Titan will complete the current 6,000 metre infill drilling program at Cerro Verde before commencing a smaller shallow drilling campaign at Kaliman and Brecha-Comanche.

This work will test the continuity of mineralisation at depth and integrate new zones into the forthcoming resource update.

In parallel, mapping and trenching will continue across the nine kilometre mineralised corridor to refine structural controls and identify new targets.

An independent review by Entech Mining has recently confirmed no fatal flaws at the project, providing further confidence in the exploration strategy and development pathway.

Strengthening the Case for Resource Growth

The latest trenching and channel sampling results at Dynasty confirm new extensions at Kaliman and Brecha-Comanche, demonstrating that significant growth potential remains beyond the current 3.1 million ounce gold resource.

With infill drilling progressing, shallow drilling planned, and independent reviews confirming project robustness, Titan Minerals is advancing Dynasty with a focus on systematic exploration and resource expansion.

As Melanie Leighton, Chief Executive Officer, notes, the company remains committed to capturing new mineralisation in the forthcoming resource update while continuing to explore the broader project area for further opportunities.
