Strata Minerals (ASX:SMX)

Maiden Zelica Resource Defines 42,000oz Gold

Strata reported a maiden JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate of 814,000 tonnes at 1.61g/t gold for 42,000oz at its 100% owned Zelica Gold Project in Western Australia, using a 0.5g/t gold cut-off. The estimate comprises 28,500oz at 1.69g/t gold classified as Indicated and 13,500oz at 1.46g/t classified as Inferred. The resource is constrained within an optimised pit shell using a gold price assumption of A$5,500/oz, with mineralisation remaining open at depth and along strike. BML Ventures is responsible for funding pre-development, development and mining activities under a Mining Services and Profit Share Agreement, conditional on agreement to a mine plan and budget and an ore tolling agreement.
