Patriot Resources (PAT) confirmed a copper-silver-zinc-cobalt discovery at Tonic in Zambia from maiden RC drilling, with mineralisation starting from surface across a 1 kilometre by 0.8 kilometre IP anomaly. OzAurum Resources (OZM) reported up to 82 percent gold recovery from heap leach column testwork at Mulgabbie North, with plant components already on site. Breakthrough Minerals (BTM) commenced a 4,000 metre diamond drilling program at Turpentine targeting northern and down-dip extensions to its copper-gold resource. iTech Minerals (ITM) discovered a new gold-antimony zone at Falchion in the Northern Territory, with peak soil values of 12.1 grams per tonne gold and 9.1 percent antimony. First drilling results are due in two to three weeks. Kuniko (KNI) started Phase 2 diamond drilling at Commonwealth to Silica Hill with assay results expected in early September.
