Kingfisher Mining Limited (ASX:KFM) | High-Grade Copper Intercepts at Copper Blow
In this episode of MarketOpen's Trading Titan podcast, we look at the latest exploration update from Kingfisher Mining Limited (ASX:KFM), focused on new assay results from the Copper Blow Copper-Gold Project near Broken Hill, New South Wales.
Kingfisher has reported results from a completed Reverse Circulation drilling program at its Copper Blow Iron Oxide Copper Gold prospect. The headline intercept is 26 metres at 2.57 percent copper and 0.75 grams per tonne gold from 73 metres, including 13 metres at 4.07 percent copper and 1.20 grams per tonne gold. A higher-grade interval within this result returned 4 metres at 7.06 percent copper and 2.38 grams per tonne gold. Another key result returned 43 metres at 1.32 percent copper and 0.32 grams per tonne gold from surface. The company reported that drilling extended high-grade sulphide mineralisation a further 50 metres towards a major cross fault, with mineralisation remaining open at depth and along strike.
The episode covers the Copper Blow joint venture structure, with Kingfisher Mining holding a 75 percent interest and Broken Hill Mines holding 25 percent. It also examines the North and South Zones, which the company states remain open along strike and at depth, along with the broader 4 kilometre-long magnetic anomaly that remains largely untested outside the main Copper Blow prospect.
The discussion also covers the company’s stated next steps, including integrating the new assay results into geological modelling, planning the next major drilling program, undertaking diamond drilling to support a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, reviewing undercover geophysical targets, and progressing metallurgical assessment activities.
The episode focuses on the latest exploration results, the continued definition of the Copper Blow mineralised system, and the company’s stated pathway towards a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
