The completed program comprised 72 drill holes for 13,726 metres of drilling. Infill spacing was reduced to approximately 20 by 20 metres. According to the company, this is designed to support the potential conversion of additional Inferred Mineral Resources to the higher-confidence Indicated category ahead of the upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study.
Assays have been received for 34 of the 72 holes, with approximately half the results still pending. The latest standout result is 31.0 metres at 5.2 grams per tonne gold from 49 metres, including 15 metres at 7.5 grams per tonne gold from 53 metres. Across the first 34 holes, 16 intercepts exceeded 50 gram-metres.
The Ashburton Gold Project Mineral Resource stands at 16.19 million tonnes at 2.8 grams per tonne gold for 1.436 million ounces of gold. The Mt Olympus deposit accounts for 12.242 million tonnes at 2.7 grams per tonne gold for 1.073 million ounces of gold.
The company also reported that drilling intersected mineralisation beyond the current resource envelope while remaining within the conceptual Scoping Study pit shell, highlighting opportunities to enhance future mining inventory.
Underground Resource Growth Drilling has commenced beneath Mt Olympus, with growth drilling also continuing at the nearby Peake Deposit.
Key milestones include the updated Mineral Resource Estimate, targeted for Q4 2026, and the Pre-Feasibility Study, targeted for Q1 2027.
