Flynn Gold Limited (ASX:FG1) | First Drill Hole Extends High-Grade Gold-Tungsten Mineralisation
Flynn Gold Limited (ASX: FG1) has released the first assay results from its two thousand twenty-six drilling campaign at the one hundred percent owned Firetower Project in northern Tasmania.
The highlight intercept from extension hole 2019FTD014E returned 9.64 metres at 2.49 grams per tonne gold, with 0.29 percent tungsten trioxide, 0.52 percent copper, 0.04 percent cobalt and 9.9 grams per tonne silver. Higher-grade intervals included 3.77 metres at 4.30 grams per tonne gold and 1.47 metres at 4.62 grams per tonne gold, with 1.10 percent tungsten trioxide and 2.20 percent copper. According to the company, the hole extends mineralisation approximately 80 metres below previous drilling, confirms mineralisation beyond 200 metres vertical depth, and the system remains open at depth and along strike.
Three drill holes have now been completed, covering approximately 520 metres of the planned 1,600 metre drilling program, which comprises up to 10 holes. Assay results from the remaining completed drill holes are still pending.
This episode covers the first assay results from the two thousand twenty-six Firetower drilling program, the reported high-grade gold, tungsten, copper, cobalt and silver intercepts, the extension of mineralisation below previous drilling, the current drilling program, and the company's planned next steps, including continued drilling, metallurgical testwork and geological modelling toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
