Caprice Resources has reported new assay results across multiple target areas at its Island Gold Project in the Murchison region of Western Australia. Results cover four distinct zones including Vadrians, Baxter, Golconda, and a newly recognised mafic hosted quartz vein area.
Key intersections include seven metres at fifteen point four grams per tonne gold at Vadrians, seven metres at ten grams per tonne at Baxter, and a standout re-sampled interval of nineteen metres at one hundred and twenty four point seven grams per tonne from the mafic hosted zone. Baxter mineralisation has been extended a further fifty metres down dip.
The company has completed twelve thousand seven hundred and seventy eight metres of a fifty thousand metre RC and diamond drilling programme. Twenty three Vadrians diamond holes have been completed with assays pending, and forty two holes are being re-logged and assessed for vein hosted mineralisation potential.
Caprice is conducting resource definition drilling at Vadrians at a spacing designed to support an Indicated classification in a future Mineral Resource Estimate. The results continue to build the geological case for a multi lode gold system across the broader Island corridor.
Upcoming activities include RC drilling at the Eureka Prospect, testing extensions at New Orient, Iron Clad and Chicago, drilling beneath lake cover between Vadrians and New Orient, testing depth and northern extensions at Vadrians, and air core drilling of new southern targets once the salt lake dries.
The key milestone to watch is progress toward a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate.
