Manhattan Gold Corporation (ASX:MHC) completes Hook Lake survey and sampling as drilling advances in Nunavut

Manhattan Gold Corporation has completed a high resolution LiDAR and orthophoto survey across its Hook Lake Project in Nunavut, Canada, alongside maiden channel and rock chip sampling at the new Vanquish prospect.

The company has also commenced reverse circulation drilling at the Jaws target as part of its 2026 exploration program.

Highlights

The completed LiDAR and orthophoto survey covered the Hook Lake Project in full across 4 stages and was secured at a significantly reduced cost to the company by taking advantage of a specialist survey aircraft already mobilised in the region.

LiDAR data was collected at 10 pulses/m² together with simultaneous digital aerial photography and will deliver a detailed digital terrain model and high resolution (10 to 15cm) orthophoto across the surveyed areas.

The datasets will support structural interpretation and gold targeting, drill hole planning and collar control, terrain and access analysis, and future environmental and engineering studies.

At the Vanquish prospect, Manhattan Gold completed maiden channel sampling and collected 47 rock chip and channel samples across multiple lithologies.

The sampling targeted prospective quartz veined, sulphide bearing mafic volcanic and quartz gabbro rocks that have been crosscut by shear zones, with samples logged and submitted to the laboratory for assay results expected in the coming weeks.

The company’s RC drill rig and supporting equipment have been mobilised to the Jaws target, with initial drill pads constructed and drilling underway.

The program is initially focused on priority drill targets defined through recent geological mapping, surface sampling and geophysical review work.

Manhattan Gold Technical Advisor Eric Sondergaard said:

“Completion of the LiDAR survey is an excellent outcome for the Company and adds another important layer to our rapidly advancing exploration program. With a specialist survey aircraft already operating in the region, we were able to secure a dataset, that would normally carry a significant mobilisation cost, at a materially reduced price.”

The Hook Lake Project covers 665km² within the Rankin Ennadai greenstone belt in Nunavut, Canada.

The company’s current exploration activities include survey work, surface sampling and drilling across targets within the project area.

With drilling underway at Jaws and Vanquish samples submitted to the laboratory, Manhattan Gold is continuing exploration activities across the Hook Lake Project as part of its 2026 field program.
