Lizard King grabs attention
Well, love him or hate him, if you can’t admit that Donald Trump raising the fist as Old Glory waved in the background was badass, I’ve got nothing for you.
It might have even surpassed Bush dodging that shoe but mind you I also think that us Aussies just losing a Prime Minister one time was also pretty cool.
Unfortunately, he announced a VP pick that wasn’t Marianne Williamson, crushing my hopes for a new wave spiritualist Trump in the wake of his near-death experience.
But now comes the annoying part of people trying to find the motivation of the shooter to score some kind of political points, I personally hope it was just yet another attempt to impress the great Ms Jodie Foster, that’s why I do what I do after all, but I don’t think she’s noticed yet.
I do enjoy having stories of union thugs back, I always had a soft spot for those adverts of jackbooted skinheads tearing up contracts for some reason, maybe it’s the complete lack of subtlety I admire.
I sure don’t admire when companies make ASX announcements in all caps though, not very nice being shouted at about DRILLING PERMITTING UNDERWAY for under Uluru or on the moons of Jupiter while I sip my morning brandy and coke and ponder where to lose it all.
But with the ASX now flirting with all-time highs, it’s probably best I stayed off the bourse and let the rest of you just enjoy it.
