Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) reports further high grade continuity at Mt Olympus

Kalamazoo Resources has completed its 72-hole, 13,726m Resource Definition Drilling Program at Mt Olympus within its 100% owned Ashburton Gold Project in Western Australia, with further assay results including 20m @ 19g/t Au from 2m in KARC0206 and 43m @ 3.8g/t Au from surface in KARC0194.

Assays have now been received from 62 of the 72 holes, with further results pending.

The Resource Definition Drilling Program finished at Mt Olympus in June 2026 and was aimed at increasing geological confidence within the existing Mineral Resource and supporting the conversion of Inferred Resources to the Indicated category.

The programme also provides the basis for future Ore Reserve estimation and key technical inputs for the ongoing Pre Feasibility Study.

The programme increased drilling density over the Mt Olympus open pit resource, reducing spacing to approximately 20m x 20m across key areas of the deposit.

Kalamazoo states that the closer spaced drilling is increasing geological knowledge and understanding of the controls on mineralisation, while improving confidence in the geological model and the interpreted continuity of mineralised zones.

Across results received from the first 62 drillholes reported over 4 successive ASX releases, the programme has returned 33 significant gold intercepts exceeding 50 gram metres.

The latest results include 43m @ 3.8g/t Au from 0m in KARC0194 and 69m @ 3.0g/t Au from 149m in KARC0207.

The company states that KARC0194 represents an improvement in grade relative to the existing block model, while KARC0207 demonstrates continuity of strong mineralisation within the interbedded conglomerate and sandstone units in the upper host stratigraphy of the Mt Olympus deposit.

The 20m @ 19g/t Au intersection from 2m in KARC0206 is reported in the context of high grade structural controls at Mt Olympus.

Kalamazoo states that drilling continues to define structurally controlled, high grade zones interpreted to represent feeder structures extending from the lower siltstone into the upper sedimentary sequence, including the principal interbedded conglomerate and sandstone unit.

They provide further evidence of the scale, continuity and internal grade distribution of the mineralisation and increase our confidence in the geological interpretation underpinning the Mineral Resource update.”

The drilling has also intersected mineralisation beyond the current resource envelope while remaining within the conceptual Scoping Study pit shell.

The announcement states that further drilling will target the intersection of the principal host lithologies with the Zoe Fault, together with down plunge and down dip extensions of known mineralisation, including the open extent of the main host sequence to the south east.

Mineral resource estimation work is underway, with the updated Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for Q4 2026 remaining on track.

Work on the Mt Olympus Pre Feasibility Study continues on schedule, with all major technical workstreams progressing.

The updated Mineral Resource, together with ongoing Growth Drilling, will provide key inputs into mine optimisation, Ore Reserve estimation and project economics.

Underground Growth Drilling is underway beneath Mt Olympus, targeting extensions beneath and down plunge of the current Scoping Study pit, while further drilling is underway at the Peake deposit.

The remaining assay results are expected to be released progressively as they become available over the coming weeks, with the updated Mt Olympus Mineral Resource Estimate targeted for Q4 2026 and the Ashburton Pre Feasibility Study targeted for Q1 2027.
