Javelin Minerals (ASX:JAV) Eureka drilling confirms continuity of shallow gold mineralisation

Javelin Minerals has reported assay results from its recently completed reverse circulation drilling program at the Eureka Gold Project in Western Australia, with results confirming continuity of shallow mineralisation and extending known high grade mineralisation along strike.

The RC drilling program was designed to increase confidence in the near surface high grade mineralisation at Eureka and test extensions along strike from the existing Eureka and Eureka Northwest deposits.

Highlights

The RC drilling program comprised 37 drillholes for 5,184m and was completed to extend mineralisation to the north and south of the planned Eureka open pit, as well as test down plunge extensions to the main mineralised system.

The program focused on areas of lower drill coverage within 80m of surface, where drilling confirmed the mineralised zones within the planned new Eureka open pit cutback.

Results from the northern area of the Eureka deposit included 5m at 2.1g/t Au from 45m in EKRC022, 10m at 1.2g/t Au from 85m in EKRC020 and 5m at 2.1g/t Au from 67m in EKRC019.

At Eureka Northwest, drilling returned intersections including 4m at 2.7g/t Au from 91m in EKRC036, 4m at 2.3g/t Au from 52m in EKRC037 and 4m at 2.0g/t Au from 64m in EKRC038.

The company reported that these results extended the northern strike extent of high grade mineralisation at depth below the planned Eureka Northwest pit.

The Eureka Gold Project is located 50km north of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, within the Kalgoorlie to Menzies greenstone belt, with high grade gold mineralisation associated with veining within altered lower mafic rocks.

The vein system consists of quartz, carbonate and sulphide mineralisation within intensely sheared zones.

Javelin Executive Chairman Brett Mitchell said,

“These results demonstrate the strength of the resource and the scope for further growth.”

The drilling program also intersected zones of laterite mineralisation near the surface, with significant results including 1m at 1.0g/t Au from 1m in EKRC007, 3m at 0.9g/t Au from 3m in EKRC008 and 8m at 0.9g/t Au from 4m in EKRC018.

Deep RC drilling was completed to test potential extensions to mineralisation down plunge, with RC pre collars completed for diamond drill tails targeting northern extensions to the high grade mineralisation.

The Eureka Mineral Resource Estimate as at July 2025 comprises 2.04Mt at 1.69g/t Au for 110,687oz at a 0.5g/t Au cut off, including 78,677oz in the Indicated category and 32,010oz in the Inferred category.

Javelin has also confirmed that the Eureka Water Extraction Permit and Native Vegetation Clearing Approval have been approved, with the Mining Development and Closure Plan approval process now at final stage.

The company’s next work includes completing diamond drill tails targeting northern extensions to the high grade mineralisation and progressing the remaining approval process for the planned development activities.
