Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) reports Peak Hill drilling results

Great Boulder Resources has reported assays from RC drilling at the Peak Hill Gold Project, located 100km north of Meekatharra in Western Australia’s Murchison region, as 3 rigs continue a 40,000m campaign across existing resource areas and additional targets.

Highlights

The results are from drilling at Jubilee and Durack, which are 2 of the 5 deposits included in the Peak Hill Mineral Resource.

Great Boulder reported that the drilling confirmed the interpreted dip and strike of mineralisation, with the results returned within potential open pit mining areas.

Durack has a Mineral Resource of 2,889,000t at 1.2g/t Au for 112,000oz, with results including 23m at 2.22g/t Au from surface in GDRC010 and 4m at 37.1g/t Au from 110m in GDRC017.

Other Durack intersections included 10m at 2.15g/t Au from 19m, 7m at 3.39g/t Au from 47m and 2m at 24.1g/t Au from 68m in GDRC016.

GDRC020 returned 19m at 1.99g/t Au from 31m, while GDRC024 intersected 10m at 6.40g/t Au from 116m and 4m at 10.4g/t Au from 147m.

Jubilee has a Mineral Resource of 470,000t at 2.3g/t Au for 35,000oz, with results including 9m at 3.62g/t Au from 26m in GJRC003, 12m at 3.20g/t Au from 81m in GJRC012 and 3m at 23.3g/t Au from 67m in GJRC016.

GJRC015 returned 11m at 3.01g/t Au from 66m and 2m at 33.6g/t Au from 107m, while GJRC030 intersected 3m at 29.4g/t Au from 39m.

Drilling also intersected shear hosted gold within the Jubilee dolerite, which had previously been interpreted as a barren unit within the Mineral Resource.

Great Boulder stated that the result points to growth in the existing resource and potential extensions to known mineralisation in newly identified lodes within the dolerite.

Great Boulder Managing Director Andrew Paterson said:

“This is a fantastic early start to our drilling campaign at Peak Hill. The grades are exceptional and support our strategy to substantially increase the resource by the end of this year.”

The Jubilee program included 13 RC holes and 2 diamond holes at the neighbouring Golden Treasure target.

Westgold Resources intersected 19m at 13.34g/t Au from 104m at Golden Treasure in its 2025 drilling, with results from Great Boulder’s holes expected shortly.

The Peak Hill campaign commenced on 16 July 2026 with RC drilling at Jubilee and Durack, followed shortly afterwards by the addition of a diamond rig.

Phase 1 infill programs at both deposits have been completed, together with exploration drilling at Golden Treasure.

With a large backlog of assays at the laboratory, the RC rigs have moved to Phase 1 programs at Enigma and Five Ways.

The Enigma program is mainly focused on resource infill and validation drilling, while at Five Ways, drilling is testing strike extensions to the main lode originally worked in the Peak Hill underground mine until 1915.

The diamond rig is drilling holes for structural and assay data at Durack, with programs scheduled through the remainder of 2026 including resource definition at Harmony and further drilling at Golden Treasure and Mt Pleasant, both of which are additional to the current Mineral Resource.

Great Boulder also has an ore purchase agreement with Westgold.
