Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) high grade drilling extends Side Well gold mineralisation

Great Boulder Resources has reported further high grade gold intersections from drilling at its Side Well Gold Project near Meekatharra in Western Australia, with the latest drilling extending known mineralisation beyond the existing 1.02Moz Mineral Resource.

The announcement details extensions at the Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk deposits, a metallurgical drilling result from Ironbark, and continued drilling at both Side Well and the recently acquired Peak Hill Gold Project.

Highlights

The recent drilling at Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk focused on extending mineralisation outside the current Mineral Resource and confirming lodes and grade continuity.

Mulga Bill East hosts an existing resource over 450m of strike, with gold mineralisation occurring in west dipping quartz veins and subvertical sulphide rich lodes.

Drilling completed during late 2025 and early 2026 extended the known mineralisation to approximately 900m of strike, and the latest drilling confirmed this mineralisation and demonstrated grade continuity.

Among the reported Mulga Bill East results were 18m @ 7.36g/t Au from 120m in hole 26MBRC039, 6m @ 14.8g/t Au from 265m in hole 26MBRC034, 2m @ 13.3g/t Au from 102m in hole 26MBRC033 and 4m @ 5.79g/t Au from 72m in hole 26MBRC037.

At Eaglehawk, drilling tested the margins of modelled mineralisation to better define and constrain the Mineral Resource.

The announcement states that the results show mineralisation continues outside the modelled lodes and remains open beyond the current Mineral Resource envelopes.

Reported intersections included 7m @ 14.5g/t Au from 56m, 4m @ 9.12g/t Au from 80m, 8m @ 4.30g/t Au from 84m and 4.05m @ 8.08g/t Au from 110.15m.

The combined Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk deposit extends over a strike length of 2.5km, with recent drilling confirming mineralisation in the gap between the 2 deposits.

At Ironbark, a diamond hole completed for geotechnical assessment and metallurgical sampling intersected 5.89m @ 18.1g/t Au from 122.8m.

The company stated that the intersection is of a similar tenor to nearby RC intersections, which have defined high grade mineralisation at the northern end of the deposit at a similar depth.

Great Boulder Managing Director Andrew Paterson said,

“As a result, we have extended the known mineralisation in this area by more than 400m, defining high grade gold over a total of 900m of strike.”

Drilling continues at Side Well, with a diamond rig operating at Golden Bracelet and an AC rig testing regional targets within the Eastern Corridor.

At Peak Hill, 2 RC rigs are operating as part of a planned 40,000m drilling program during the current half year, with 1 rig working in the Jubilee and Golden Treasure area and the other at Durack.

The company stated that first results from Peak Hill are expected in late August.
