Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) extends Mulga Bill East drilling

Great Boulder Resources has reported further gold intersections at Mulga Bill East, within its Side Well Gold Project near Meekatharra in Western Australia.

The latest drilling extends the known mineralisation beyond the area covered by the reported Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk resource, with further drilling planned in preparation for resource estimation.

Highlights

The latest results follow a series of extensions at Mulga Bill East, where an existing resource spans 450m of strike, mainly at the southern end of the deposit.

Great Boulder said in July 2026 that drilling had extended the overall strike of the area to approximately 900m; the company now reports an extension of 600m beyond that position.

The reported results come from holes drilled at different depths across the area, with the 2m intersection from 133m in 26MBRC088 including a 1m interval at 60.9g/t Au from 134m.

The separate result in 26MBRCD006 begins at 292.36m, while the intersection in 26MBRC080 begins at 73m.

The announcement records these as exploration results and does not provide an updated resource estimate for the extended area.

Mulga Bill East sits east of Mulga Bill.

Great Boulder Managing Director Andrew Paterson said this as the company outlined its interpretation of the geology between them.

“Mulga Bill and Mulga Bill East are around 200m to 300m apart”

Great Boulder says vein hosted gold intersections at Mulga Bill East appear to correspond to west dipping veins previously drilled farther down dip at Mulga Bill.

That interpretation informs the next drilling program described in the release, with further RC and diamond drilling planned to infill the area in preparation for resource estimation, extend the west dipping lodes down dip towards Mulga Bill and test strike continuity in the reported mineralised zones.

The company also plans to test continuity of mineralisation within quartz lodes extending from Mulga Bill to Mulga Bill East.

Side Well has a reported Mineral Resource of 1,021,000oz Au, comprising 626,000oz in the Indicated category and 395,000oz in the Inferred category.

Within the project, the release identifies a 782,000oz resource for Mulga Bill and Eaglehawk, outside which the latest Mulga Bill East drilling has been conducted.

Work is continuing elsewhere in the company’s portfolio, with the site team at Side Well cutting and sampling the last diamond holes drilled at Mulga Bill and Golden Bracelet.

At Peak Hill, 2 RC rigs and 1 diamond rig are continuing extension and exploration programs at priority targets, with a resource update planned by the end of 2026.

At Mulga Bill East, the next reported milestone is the additional drilling required in preparation for resource estimation.
